greenarrowsm  Consumer Loan Manager - Lompoc, CA

Under supervision of the VP Consumer and Real Estate Lending, the Consumer Loan Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of the staff assigned to Underwriting, Processing, Lending Center, DMV and Indirect Business Development.

Review of Duties:

Plans, directs, and organizes all Consumer Loan, Lending Center, DMV and BDO activities.

Manages vendor relationships to effectively address business requirements, ensuring that dealer files and vendor management tools and systems are kept current and updated.

In conjunction with the ACLM, supervises the Underwriting and Processing department’s daily operations and assigned staff including but not limited to loan application interface, decisions, processing, funding and loan adjustments.

Responsible for Lending Origination System and all ancillary systems and operations relating to Consumer Loans.

Under general supervision of the Collections Manager, a Collection Officer is responsible for performing a wide variety of member Collections duties.

Review of Duties:

Contacts member through various methods, telephone, letter, and email to determine reason for delinquency.

Tracks collateral protection insurance ensuring member has complied with credit union requirements.

Researches and analyzes data on past due loan accounts, non-sufficient return items and claims of fraudulent activity.

Tracks claims filed for credit disability and credit life insurance ensuring timely payment or payoffs for loan(s).

Under general supervision of the Branch Manager, an MSO 3 Relationship Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of loan and deposit based functions.

Review of Duties:

Prepares and processes loan related transaction requests, in person or by telephone.

Actively explains, promotes and cross sells Credit Union services, products, programs and investment opportunities.

Makes outbound calls to initiate and process new loan and deposit products from new and existing members.

Identifies and refers new business members and accounts to their respective Branch Manager.

Explains, promotes and cross sells Credit Union services, products, programs and investment opportunities.

Accurately balances cash and coin and maintains appropriate cash level within limits.
