  Branch Manager - Atascadero, CA

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Credit Union to achieve its mission to make a difference in our neighbors’ lives. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.

Review of Duties:

Works in tandem with VP of Retail and Sales and VP of Operations and Support to regularly schedule and conduct branch meetings to inform and update employees of Credit Union goals and progress towards goals, promotions, products, services, activities and to encourage participation and open communication.

Solicits relationships from profitable new commercial loans and deposits.

  Collection Manager - Lompoc, CA

Under the direction of the AVP Collections and/or VP Collections, carries out any and all collections activities as assigned.

Review of Duties:

Manages department to control delinquency and charge-off ratios to achieve budgeted departmental objectives.

Ensures staff compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.

Assists the AVP Collections/VP Collections in developing and maintaining updated policies and procedures pertaining to the collections process.

Ensures maximum effectiveness and resource utilization through the creation of appropriate workflows and efficient workload distribution.

Manages the effective liquidation of repossessed collateral to maximize recoveries for the Credit Union.

Reviews charged-off loan files to identify red flags and common trends and communicates results and trends to AVP Collections on a monthly basis.

Reviews commercial real estate appraisals for adequacy, compliance and detail and documents the applicable review’s assessments and findings.

Actively participates in managing vendor relationships, including outside collection agencies, attorneys, auctions, recovery firms, software providers, and insurance carriers.

Under direction of the Sr. Credit Analyst/Underwriter, the Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting credit investigations and analysis for small business loans of basic to moderate complexity.

Review of Duties:

Works closely with the Credit Analyst and Business Services staff to complete the documentation, underwriting, approval and closing process.

Reviews credit memoranda and underwriting analyses prepared by or received from the Credit Analyst or Underwriter for accuracy and adequacy.

Reviews commercial real estate appraisals for adequacy, compliance and detail and documents the applicable review’s assessments and findings.

Continuously monitors product offerings, terms and best practices of competitors and reports findings to management when appropriate.

Under the general supervision of the Lending Center Manager, the Internal Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for managing and originating quality real estate loans from branches, LSI, online applications and members, for the purpose of increasing real estate loan volume and market share.

Review of Duties:

Prepares and conducts home buyer seminars to explain loan programs and policies, terms, features and benefits to members and potential borrowers.

Interviews loan applicants, gathers required documentation, conducts loan closings and guides members through the loan origination process from beginning to end.

Demonstrates leadership characteristics, organizational skills and experience working in an automated origination environment.

  Real Estate Underwriter - Lompoc, CA

Under the direction of the AVP of Real Estate, a Mortgage Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and evaluating all mortgage applications submitted to the Real Estate Department.

Review of Duties:

Perform a thorough review and analysis of complex mortgage loan applications and make loan decisions in accordance with the Credit Union’s lending policies, authority, applicable regulatory statutes, and adherence to secondary market investor requirements.

Maintain real estate loan underwriting authority as granted by the Credit Union. This will be accomplished by maintaining working and technical knowledge of the real estate lending processing and underwriting requirements in accordance with the Credit Union and secondary market investor requirements.

Provides training and support to Mortgage Processors in relation to the productivity and growth of the Real Estate Department.

Responsible for maintaining appropriate education materials and utilize software, manuals, and other educational products.

Follows policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) Truth-In-Lending Act (TILA), to ensure daily compliance with current regulations

Conduct new employee orientation, observe employees’ learning progress, and evaluate employees’ ability to perform duties.

Utilizes a variety of methods, including written tests, simulated activities and computer software, to test and certify/re-certify employees’ competency levels.

  Facilities Assistant - Lompoc, CA

Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Credit Union’s facilities, physical building safety and security.

Review of Duties:

Coordinates and directs select contractors and vendors associated with the upkeep and supply of facilities.

Assists with building security functions, including camera operation, code access, safety inspections, key access and inventory, alarm and fire permits, fire systems and facility inspections.

Assists the Facility Manager’s “Safety Officer” function; contribute to the compliance with Federal, State and local regulations, including ADA and OSHA.

Maintains the upkeep and inventory of building and office equipment and furniture purchase orders for building projects; assists with the assembly of select equipment/furniture as needed.

Assists the Facility Manager with coordinating repairs and maintenance of all Facilities systems such as HVAC, plumbing, power, sewer, signs and lighting.

The Member Services Officer performs a wide variety of financial transactions and duties while providing friendly, accurate, responsive service to our members. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.

We desire prior customer service and cash handling experience, as well as flexibility in the offices that we have open on Saturdays (includes the Five Cities, Lompoc, Paso Robles and Santa Maria branches).
