When you made your last home-financing decision, did you call CoastHills?

Whether the answer is yes or no, Vic Jasper is here to make sure you do reach out to us on your next one.

He is our new Assistant Vice President, Real Estate Loans, and he brings with him decades of experience in local real estate lending and more than 30 years in financial services. From helping start up a new mortgage brokerage to managing for the largest mortgage lender in the country, Vic knows the industry inside and out.

“We want to be the go-to lender for our membership,” Vic said. “Whether you are making a purchase or refinance, a HELOC or fixed-second mortgage, big loans, small loans and everything in between, we want you to call us first and give us a chance to help.”

Already in his short time with CoastHills, Vic has streamlined the Credit Union’s underwriting guidelines and processes. The result has given CoastHills the ability to provide members with more personal service and quicker turnaround times.

“Having Vic with CoastHills allows us to do so much more for our members when it comes to purchasing a home,” said James Ledford, Vice President, Consumer and Real Estate Lending at CoastHills. “His decades of experience as a lender here on the coast working with realtors and home buyers helps make the Credit Union nimble and flexible enough to rise to any challenge.”

Vic is a Cal Poly graduate, longtime Pismo Beach resident and a longtime member of CoastHills, and he said joining the CoastHills Real Estate team has reinvigorated his career by giving him the chance to relish the Credit Union’s vision statement: We make a difference in our neighbors’ lives.

“Our members are super loyal to us. They trust us,” Vic said, “and that’s a cool thing. There’s also a lot of responsibility in that.

“We are here in our communities trying to make a difference and offer good financial products to help people succeed.”

That’s something we can all identify with.
