Under limited supervision of the VP of Consumer Lending, the Assistant Vice President of Real Estate Experience is responsible for the activities of the Real Estate Department and assigned employees towards attainment of Credit Union goals by providing maximum member benefit.

Review of Duties:

Plans, directs, organizes and supervises all Real Estate Department activities and assigned employees. Prepares Department goals and objectives.

Prepares and submits annual department budget, continuously monitors the financial and operational performance of the department; investigates variances to the approved budget; communicates budget requirements, variances, and deviations to the Vice President of Lending.

Ensures loan activities are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations and comply with established Credit Union operating policies and procedures.

Builds individual and team effectiveness, leadership, core values, and effective processes to achieve department goals and meet objectives.

Under the direction of the SVP of Technology, the Data Scientist undertakes data collection, preprocessing and analysis. Builds models to address business problems. Presents information using data visualization tools and techniques.

Analyzes large amounts of semi-structured information to find patterns that will help improve internal business units. Builds data products to extract valuable business insights.

Performs sophisticated data analytics encompassing data mining, inferential statistical analysis, and predictive analytics.

Under general supervision of the Assistant Consumer Loan Manager, a Consumer Loan Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and evaluating secured, unsecured and Visa loans in the Consumer Loan Department.

Review of Duties:

Responds to members’ inquiries and requests; assists in completing forms and documents.

Explores and offers counter options for all potential loans.

Evaluates all loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss.

Explains, promotes and cross sells Credit Union services, products, programs and investment opportunities.

Opens new membership and share accounts and closes accounts as requested.
