With over 35 years in business banking, Cathy brings a wealth of experience to her role as Vice President of Business Development at CoastHills. Having started her career in retail banking and worked her way up from Teller to Branch Manager before transitioning to commercial banking, Cathy proudly describes herself as a “unicorn” in the industry. Her 27 years at Mid-State Bank & Trust gave her invaluable experience in building lasting business relationships—something she now calls her "superpower."
What Cathy loves most about CoastHills is the Credit Union’s commitment to its local communities. One of her proudest moments was helping a local Jiffy Lube franchise secure a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan during the COVID-19 pandemic when their previous bank wouldn’t respond. That business has remained a loyal member ever since, and Cathy finds fulfillment in making a real difference for local businesses, especially in challenging times.

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys taking her Basset Hounds, PJ and Rugby, to the local beaches and loves creating gift baskets in her free time. She also enjoys golfing for fun and is a dedicated Rotarian of 24 years, living by the Rotary motto "Service Above Self."
As a native of the Central Coast and a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cathy is deeply connected to the community.
