With nearly 35 years of experience in consumer, real estate and commercial lending – much of it right here on the Central Coast – Vic brings deep expertise to his role as SVP Chief Lending Officer at CoastHills. His background includes six years in business banking and time on the Business Loan Committee, where he’s developed a passion for supporting local businesses – because when they succeed, they create local jobs, strengthen our economy and help our neighbors thrive.
He holds a degree in Agribusiness Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, an MBA from Western Governors University and is a graduate of the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) School of Business Lending. In his role, he values the opportunity to keep learning while helping shape the future of the Credit Union.
Vic is driven by a desire to help teams break down the financial barriers that members and local businesses face, so they can move forward with confidence. He believes CoastHills is uniquely positioned to support small businesses through local decision-making and a strong commitment to the community.
Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, studying history and spending time with his wife and their pets – including three dogs (Remedy, Suki and Gracie), two cats (Lucky and Hootie) and two horses (Iceman and Sophie). Having lived all along the West Coast, he proudly calls the Central Coast home. The best advice he’s ever received? “Once begun, the task is half done” – a simple reminder that keeps him moving forward.
