6 When you use your Encore Visa Signature card to purchase the entire cost of any common carrier passenger fare worldwide, or any hotel/motel room in the United States or Canada, you are eligible to be reimbursed for amounts actually paid by you (up to $3,000 for lost luggage and up to $500 for hotel theft) to replace the personal property that sustained physical loss or damage or at the result of a burglary from your hotel/motel room. Exclusions include animals; perishables; cameras and accessories; eye glasses and contact lenses; prosthetic devices including dentures and hearing aids; tickets; valuable papers and documents; credit and debit cards; securities; money; art; electronic equipment; business items; precious metals; stones or gems other than personal jewelry.
Within 24 hours of loss, theft or damage, report to the appropriate official such as police or hotel proprietor. Call 1-(800) 252-4670 to submit a claim within 45 days after a covered loss occurs. Upon notification, claim forms will be provided within 15 days which must be returned with proof of loss. Reimbursement will be paid within 60 days after proof of loss.

Your questions answered
You can view your rewards points balance from the home screen within your credit card payment portal.
To access this, you'll need to log in to CoastHills Online Banking, select Additional Services, then Credit Cards. From there, you'll be taken to your credit card payment portal.
To redeem your rewards points, you'll select View Rewards from the home screen within your credit card payment portal. You'll be taken to the ScoreCard rewards site, where you can shop and redeem your rewards points.
If your debit or credit card has been blocked, please contact Falcon Fraud at (855) 961-1602, or if you are unsure if your card has been blocked for fraud, give us a call at (805) 733-7600 or visit one of our 12 local branches.
You can report your card lost or stolen and order a replacement from within Online and Mobile Banking.
From within Online Banking:
After logging in, select Additional Services then Card Management.
From within Mobile Banking:
After logging in, select More from the bottom right corner then Card Management at the top of the page.

Travel notes cannot be placed over the phone. To place a note on your account, you can send a secure message in CoastHills Online Banking or visit a CoastHills branch.
To send a secure message, log in to CoastHills Online Banking. Select Additional Services, then Secure Messaging. Underneath the search bar, you'll click New Message and complete the ticket.
For mobile, you'll select More from the bottom of your screen, then Secure Messaging. Click on New Message and complete the ticket.
