Using Alerts

Stay in the Know with CoastHills Account Alerts

Imagine always having a heads-up when something important happens with your CoastHills accounts - like your balance dipping too low or a payment going through. With account alerts, you can! It’s a simple way to stay connected to your money, whether you’re tracking spending, monitoring your savings, or just like a little peace of mind.

You can receive alerts by email, text message, or both. Here’s how to set them up in Online Banking.

Getting Started with Alerts
To begin, log in to Online Banking and click on Digital Branch, then choose Set Up Account Alerts from the dropdown menu.

You’ll land on the Alerts and Notifications screen, where you can view, add, or adjust your alert preferences.

Want to see your past alerts? Click View all alerts to scroll through up to 90 days of alert history.

Adding a New Alert
When you’re ready to add an alert, you’ll notice a few default settings - like a low balance limit or a high withdrawal amount. These are just suggestions, and you can customize them to better fit your needs.

Hover your mouse over any alert to bring up more options. From there, you can:

  • Change the account the alert is tied to
  • Update how often the alert is sent
  • Choose where the alert is delivered (email, text, or both)
  • Add a personal note to remind you what the alert is for

Set Up Text Message Alerts
Prefer getting alerts on your phone? On the Alerts screen, you can turn on SMS (text) alerts and set your preferences just like with email notifications. It’s a great way to stay instantly informed on the go.

Account alerts are like having a helpful assistant keeping an eye on your finances. Whether it’s a friendly reminder or an important heads-up, you’ll always know what’s happening with your CoastHills accounts - no surprises, just clarity.
